3) They can be used only on smartphones

Unlike usual instant messaging apps, which mostly can be used only on a mobile device, enterprise communication apps can be used across devices. Most internal chat options for business enterprises provide native apps for mobiles, PC, tablets as well as the web. Employees can easily switch between devices as per their convenience and keep track of conversations and important updates.

4) Their features are no different than WhatsApp’s features

WhatsApp is the most popular instant messaging platform but it is not built for business communication.
